I went to Trader Joe's and happened to see this yesterday. I don't know why this is so funny, but I had to snap a picture.

5 eggs

I've always heard about my Mom's bluebirds but have never witnessed the eggs being laid. Every morning we would wake up and their would be one more in the nest, until this morning Mother Bluebird laid her fifth and final egg before she will start incubating them.

The Second City

We went to see the 'Taming of the Flu' this past weekend at the famed
Second City comedy club. This is what the set looks like:

Another Rainbow + Sneak Peak Pics

We saw yet another full arching rainbow yesterday on our way home after we took more engagement pictures with our amazing wedding photographer, Karen Bonar - Heartland Photography. She said taking pictures in the rain separates the men from the boys. I agree!

Courtney visits Chicago

My dear sister visited Chicago. While here, she went to see Toots & the Maytals at the House of Blues, took an architectural boat cruise on the Chicago river, visited North Avenue beach (seen above) ate at Lula's, Big Star, Wow Boa and went shopping on Michigan Avenue. Among other things.
